I adore Mani, but the small coastal Limeni with its towers and its crystal clear waters stole my heart.
We visited Limeni while we were staying at “Petra & Fos”. I asked which place I was seeing from the hotel swimming pool.
I asked which place I was seeing from the hotel swimming pool. I got informed that it was Limeni and we should visit it because it’s beautiful. Indeed! Limeni enchanted us!

Limeni is a strip of land which gives you the sense that its edge is dipping into the sea.
The houses are almost touching it, savouring its saltiness. The crystal blue waters are inviting you to get immersed.
There are no sandy beaches and maybe this characteristic makes Limeni so particular and unique.
Strolling at the one and only road of the village you can see imposing stone houses popping up.
WHERE YOU CAN STAY
Petrobays Mavromichalis Tower was built in 1762. It was restored in honour of the heroic family who had a leading part in

One of these is “Petra & Fos” which is located opposite of the Limeni on the hillside.
