>  HOTELS-GREECE   >  Hotel Aglaida – Your Country Home in Tsagkarada

Last weekend I visited Pelion after many years.
Travel Bloggers Greece was celebrating their second anniversary and on that occasion, we arrived on Friday night in snowed Tsagkarada. We were booked in Hotel Aglaida and arriving there felt like we were coming in our country house in Pelion.

Hotel Aglaida is located in a beautiful green scenery of chestnut and plane trees overlooking the endless blue sea. It is a condo of 33 independent apartments consisting of one or two rooms or suites with a fireplace and air conditioning. Each apartment has its own kitchenette equipped with the basics for a quick lunch. Ample free parking spaces for all cars are available close to the apartments.hotel-aglaida

Even though Pelion was covered with snow when we arrived and the water in both pools was turned into ice, the scenery remained enchanting.

Each apartment features its own big veranda or balcony from where one can enjoy the view over a cup of coffee – weather allowing of course.

Breakfast in Aglaida was richly made with fresh ingredients and the addition of Greek recipes. Every morning the freshly baked cheese pie was disappearing as soon as it was served hot out of the oven.

The hotel also offers the choice of a half board package or full board deal that includes a buffet for the meals.

The Hotel has two event lounges indoors and one outdoors by the pool that host various celebrations or conferences. We had the party for the second anniversary of TBG there and it was beautiful.

Tsagkarada is a beautiful destination throughout all seasons and Hotel Aglaida is one of the best choices for accommodation in the village.
