Concortel Hotel in Paris is a tough case for me. And it is only because I feel that no matter how many things I will say or write, words are simply not enough to describe our stay there.
I will start though by making a special mention to the kindness of its personnel. Yes, I am aware that all hotels have their personnel trained to be overly kind and helpful towards their customers, but this was something more than that. The way we were greeted coming in or out, the genuine interest as to where we had been, what we had seen or what was our schedule for the next day made us feel spoiled like we were the centre of the world. It was as if we were so precious that the world had to turn around us. No matter what we needed or asked the people of the hotel were there for us to guide or advice us for a perfect stay.
WHERE IS CONCORTEL HOTEL
In the heart of Paris, in a very quiet neighborhood on the 8th apartment, the Concortel hotel is very close to 3 metro stations (Saint-Lazare, Havre Caumartin and Madeleine) as well as the railway station of Paris-Saint-Lazare.
With all this transportation stations available within close reach as well as the bus routes, whatever the destination would be, commuting to it is made easy as a piece of cake. If you are planning on doing some shopping in Paris too, the neighborhood itself is place to some beautiful brand stores like H&M, Zara, Chanel, Gucci, Hermès, Ralph Lauren and more. And if you are not afraid of walking then the museum of Louvre, the Champs-Élysées or the Arc de Triomphe are within a walking distance from the hotel.
THE ROOMS OF CONCORTEL HOTEL
We were lucky to stay in one of the 10 suites of the hotel on the 5th floor. Our room was very spacious with a double bed and one single. We also had two separate closets, two desks, a mini bar and supplies for making a tea or an espresso. There were two window doors in the room that led to a small balcony overlooking a quite road and elegantly decorated with bloomed window boxes.
The bathroom was equally spacious and comfortable like the rest of the room with a bath tub and a shower cabin in a separate connecting space, a hair dryer and self-care products. And of course, wi-fi connection is available in all areas of the hotel.
BREAKFAST IN CONCORTEL HOTEL
The people of the hotel seem to pay special attention to anything that has to do with the well-being of their customers. This also includes the choice of the breakfast menu. So instead of taking the easy solution of a buffet breakfast, they offer 4 different menu choices that cover all tastes.
THE LOUNGE IN CONCORTEL HOTEL
One afternoon we returned a bit earlier than usual at the hotel after being exhausted from walking all day. We did not want to lock ourselves up in the hotel room though. So the lounge with a view to the beautiful patio made the perfect place to enjoy some moments of relaxation over a drink before returning to the room.
